IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The next edition of the Parish Magazine (October 2026) will be the last edition unless we can find a new Editor URGENTLY

It would be ideal if someone would step forward and is able to edit the magazine on a voluntary basis.  This is a significant voluntary role requiring 4 days a month. However, it is also a great service to the community.

Lapworth Parish Magazine, a thriving monthly, is much more than a church magazine. It covers three parishes, Lapworth, Baddesley Clinton and Packwood. The magazine is distributed free of charge to a population of about 2000.

It consciously sets out to reflect all village activities and has regular columns from most village organisations.

Outside matters ecclesiastical, it has regular reports from Lapworth School, Lapworth Parish Council, the Lapworth Players, Kingswood and Lapworth WI, Warwick West Safer Neighbourhood Team, Lapworth Local History Group, and the Royal British Legion.

Apart from the normal church activities – services, prayer, baptism, weddings and funerals, it also covers the activities of the evangelical Lees Chapel, the nearest Methodist church and the Roman Catholic church of St Francis of Assisi at Baddesley Clinton.

Editorial:  Material may be submitted to the Rector (patrick@gerard.net) or to the editor Derek Bush (parishmagnews@hotmail.com) by the 5th of the month before.
